Literary Translation (English–German)
I provide literary translation from English into German, working primarily with narrative fiction and literary non-fiction.
My main areas of translation include:
- Thrillers and psychological thrillers
- Dramas
- Historical novels
- Biographies
My work is text-oriented and target-focused. The aim of each translation is a German text that functions naturally in its own right while preserving the tone, structure and narrative impact of the original. Clarity, coherence and readability are central to my approach, particularly when dealing with complex or stylistically uneven source texts.
I work with publishing houses and professional authors and have experience with both standalone titles and book series, as well as collaboration with editors and editorial teams.
